Welcome, Sika. I remember once during my hospice work. I entered the room of a lady, who was unable to respond. Gently placed my hand on her foot and asked if I might do Reiki with her. I, too, got a resonating "No!". So, I backed out of the room and left her. Later, I discovered that she was the mama of someone who worked with my husband and she passed the evening of the day that I touched her. We've learned from hospice work, that people must let go of everything here, before they can pass. I believe that she was preparing to leave and I would have only drawn her back....in ways I can't know. I believe that you have gifts, Sika, and you'll only learn from them.
