For me it would be the nature of the challenge.
Is it a challenge to be more and better than I am presently or is it a challenge to 'keep up'?
I don't keep up. Lots of people I've known over the years involved in Reiki have gone on to 'be' more than I, learn more, do more. That is them, and this is me. Why would I want to try to keep up with someone else? Doesn't make sense to me. Keeping up is living in their life I prefer living in my own.
