- I am not sure you understand the workings of sorcerers who may also be shamans and healers
- the energy which sorcerers draw upon whether for healing, defense, eradication of nasties, or doing harm is always available
- it is the intention that one applies to the energy which is crucial
- if a sorcerer or shaman or witch or other magician directly summons an entity (for help or harm or??) that is somewhat different
- but, remember, many entities have their own agendas and are not slaves or servants - I have heard it said, (putting aside my views of god and source for the time being), that god hears all requests - sometimes the answer is yes, sometimes it is you have to wait for an answer, sometimes the answer is no}
- my impression though is that supplicants do not seek 'favors' from source in the same fashion - suggesting that source and god are not isomorphic
- so, many entities simply do not 'come running' to do our bidding when we call
- it is also said there are some energy complexes of a more negative predisposition which may be harnessed somewhat like a slave but I have no personal experience calling such complexes (which are also said to reflect an expression of the Collective Shadow of the human species)
- doing clearings and that sort of thing is much more my cup of tea
