- but, the basics of weight loss are: burning sufficiently more calores every week than you take in via food and drink so that pounds go away
- some level of dieting or diet change is often needed and an increase in execise is almost always very useful (not just to shed pounds)
- losing a significant amount of weight (and keeping the weight down permanently) can be, for some, as difficult as it is for others to give up cigarettes
