Bruce, see my reply to finality this date, slightly before this time -- I remembered a bit of the context.

I realize my quoting of Master Duan has let me hide behind him somewhat, rather than making the assertion of "no negative energy" on its own merits -- my apologies for that bit of intellectual cowardice.

On the "prickly heat" of cancer, no I have not experienced that, but I would try to explain my view by saying that the treatment for such, under the assertion of "no negative energy", would be stronger and more effective, the more the practitioner could see past the apparent negative, to the wholeness of the cancer sufferer. Seeing the beauteous truth, beyond the apparent ugliness. Being resolute, insisting on validating the sufferer's wholeness and beauty, rather than focusing on the negativity of the cancer.

I'll give another example from my own learning and experience: there was a time not so long ago, when I became entranced by my ability to intuitively zero in on the place in a client's body where they held their deepest emotional pain. Well, I put a stop to feeding my ego with that practice, after I had a rare spell of dizziness after one such zeroing-in, and had to get clearing help from a friend, who was fortunately right there to help. So now, while still noting those places of deep hurt, I diligently practice seeing beyond them, again, to the wholeness and beauty of the client.

To generalize from this example, I take this lesson as to say, "yes, we can note the appearance of the deep wound, yet know that it is still only surface, projection, a shadow on the wall, and seeing through to Oneness is the fearless compassionate action."

Blessings,
Aronaya
