It sounds like from the posts that "If it's too tight loosen it". Be it jewelery or clothing etc.
A garment or accessory that has a negative energy flow effect in one person might be perfectly balancing on another person.
And there are some people who are totally disconnected and unaware that their garments and adornments are garroting major Chi flow channels here and there for years. And don't feel right if all the correct pinches and constrictions are not in place.
