- one view is that we are not sponges for negative energy unless (usually) we intend to be so
- a rather more important aspect of this issue, to me at least, is with what negative energy we polute our own energy work when dealing with others
- in my view it is simpler to deny access to ourselves vis a vis negative energy that it is to be mindful not to polute our Reiki work with our personal energy (doing so could precipitate harm)
