I may have said this before. when we had theswe hot hands discussion in our group, it had become a sort of banter about whose hands are the hottest! Xaris foxed this right away. The heat is a body sensation, not reiki. When the body is familair with the energy the sensations ceace. I never felt my hands hot, but the place on me where I put my hands was cooking. So what! Can't really hurt anything. This kind of heat is an energy reaaction, it is not real.
