I'm studying an energy healing modality called Chios Healing. Chios works to heal impurities, blockages and damage in the auric field through seeing them and channeling energy to repair them. I have been attuned to levels one and two, and am working with the level two manual. Level one was easy, as it was about getting accustomed to channeling energy to the hands. I have a very nice teacher, (remote) and am motivated to learn to do this, as some of you may already know.
My problem is that, unlike Reiki, Chios is not coming "naturally" to me, despite my attunements, motivation, and attempt to practice the channeling, intuition, etc. Through doing practice exercises, I've been able to see auric colors around brightly colored objects, and with considerable effort (which I'm not supposed to have to use) I can see the first layer (though mostly colorless to me at this point) of a person's etheric aura. But I am not getting intuitive messages about a person's energetic needs as I do (very easily) with my hands when I channel Reiki.
I'm wondering if anyone has advice for someone (okay me) who suddenly feels very thick in the head. My third eye chakra feels very active, but I'm not hearing or seeing what I should be. It's like I'm overweight and trying to get into a size 4. I'm exercising, but I have a long way to go. Reiki wasn't like this for me, and I've taken the entire 3+ levels of Reiki, and channel Reiki daily.
I was hoping to expand my healing capabilities by incorporating the visual intuitive sense of Chios with the touch-sense I have in Reiki.
