Walking in an old growth forest is something everyone should do just once. I have walked amongst the old ones in British Columbia and it was an incrediable feeling. I find that a walk in the forest has a very calming effect on me. It helps clear my head. Like getting recharged. I highly recommend this to anyone who is feeling sressed or confused about things. Trees are great listeners and offer no judgements. They have a magical way of helping you focus. As a matter of fact I am heading to the north country(Tamagemi)next weekend for four days and taking a friend who has never before experienced the solitude of sitting amongst the trees and letting nature speak to him.
