Love is such a challange in life. One spiritual master Jesus, reminds us, just after one of his disciples leaves his Last Supper to inform on him and betray him of this.
It is found in John 13: 34
"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; even as I have loved you, that you also love one another"
To love is to forgive. To forgive is to love. If we understood this fully, then there is no need to forgive. Love calls us to forgive without thought.
Dr. Usui reminds us
Just for today - Let go of anger.
Just for today - Let go of worry
Just for today - Be kind to your neighbor and every living thing
Just for today - Do your work honestly.
Just for today - Give thanks for all your blessings
When we are free of anger, if we are free of worry, when we are kind to our neighbor and every living thing (and all that lives are are neighbor) when we work honestly, and when we give thanks we are free to love, free to forgive.
But, I ramble.
