Thanks for your reply. I cannot recall exactly when this reaction began to occur, but I would venture to say over the past few years, and that is about the same time frame that I started working with and studying energy.
It could very well be that I am blocking energy, but I am not consciously doing so. I am very sensitive to energy though, and perhaps when beginning to work with it, I have opened up an even more sensitive response to a sudden rush of adrenaline and that is why my nerves seem to be on fire.
More than anything, I was curious if anyone else had experienced this same feeling. In the past, I had the hot hands thing that I couldn't explain and that was well before I even knew Reiki existed, so who knows what this indicator might be telling me about future work with energy.
