Dear Truth Seeker,
You have a beautiful heart. It sounds like you have touched that raw and vulnerable beauty at the core of your being. It is awakened, and it will continue to call you, just as repressed hunger for food. That soft being deep in your heart needs nourishment. I wonder if a tiny part of your response to the act of kindness you witnessed was that it called up inside of you the part of YOU that is crying and seeks the unconditional love that the 7 year old was showing. What happened here? The baby felt HEARD and VALIDATED. Where in your life do you feel heard and validated? I am wondering why you feel you CAN"T do a vision quest if it is something you have always wanted to do. Just a question. I think being very busy with work and school can make it very difficult to sort everything out, but that is how most of us must make the journey.....most of us don't have the luxury of being away from it all and sorting it out. That being said, there may be great value in carving out, planning time to do this. Your mental health affects your physical health, and if you do not nurture your soul, you will become ill.
If you are called to past life regression, go for it! Even though we need to live the life we are in now, I think there is some help in seeing what issues come from the past, and I think exploring that can deepen this lifetime experience. I see in your profile that you came to Reiki through a dream. If you ask and intend for information you need to come through in a dream, perhaps it will. I believe we do get information about past lives in dreams, and these dreams are pretty unique and easy to recognize. Sometimes they feel like a movie and we are dressed in clothes of a different time period.....some books on past life regression talk about clues we get in dreams. This may be one way you can access this information. Dreams also carry other valuable information about our own Truth and path.
I am not sure if any of us ever feel we have "arrived".
Just be sure to really live the Journey. You are co-creator in your life. Don't forget that. It can make life very rich to keep remembering that!
Blessings,
Feather
P.S. In my last post, I wrote the wrong name for the speaker/author. I should have written Richard Rohr. I have gone to talks by both men and had both names in my head. Ron Roth is a healer with a very interesting journey. Richard Rohr is a very cool Franciscan priest who has written much on male spirituality.
