Otoharo!
I have had a great deal of help from accupuncture before I had access to reiki. One of my brothers is a practitioner of it. When I took the flu that came to be called the New Mexico flu, I was so ill, that when I called my brother he could hardly hear me, my voice was so weak. We both were living in Texas, so he called one of our sisters and the two of them came to see about me. My body always responds to accupnucture very well. My boss who had had the same flu was willing for me to have three weeks off so I went home with my brother who gave me several treatments each day.
Another time, I had become so stiff that I could hardly turn my neck. I sleep on my belly, so I needed to be able to turn my head easily. I went to an accupunctureist. she was very good. (This was the Japanaese type, not the Chinese.) As it turned out, the same kind my brother learned. that cleared my whole energy. I went to her weekly for a couple of years. My insurance paid for it.
I have no experience with the Chinese type.
