Dear friends!
One of the best alpine climbers, Tomaz Humar, is caught in the south wall of Nanga Parbat
mountain in Pakistan for five days now. He stays in a little hole at about 6000 m (about
20.000 feet) where he can't move. It is snowing all the time, his clothes are wet and
freezing, he's got no more food. He can't move to a different place because there are
frequent avalanches. An international rescue action has been organized, but they have to
wait for at least tempopary weather improvement.
Tomaz is still high spirited, he thanks all people that write to him and pray for him. So
please, if anyone feels like it, a prayer or a positive thought would be great.
