I play a trumpet, and am looking to join a big band or orchestra - gotta keep playing. Not lead, 3rd or 4th is fine. Anybody know where I can find out about amateur bands ?

I sing and play washboard in a 30's era swing band. There are only four of us, so it's not big band exactly.... but we do play many of the same songs. Check out our website, and if you think you might have interest, send us a note. We have a couple of mp3's to listen to.. I think a trumpet would be a very cool addition.
We play in Hoboken and NYC from time to time... but nothing currently lined up until the fall.
