With the twilo closed, and the facist major wanting to close down the tunnel and such, are there any smaller underground raves on this side of the river.

You wish. If there are any raves [ever] they are usually in some warehouse in Jersey City. Hoboken does not participate. When I used to go to Stevens (back in 1995) I've threw some parties up on campus (the school never knew that they were actually raves), and a good number of people showed up.
