The Hoboken Cafe 

Are any of you familiar with Rose Rossi's music? She is my new favorite artist right now. Check her out at myspace.com/roserossi and give it a listen. She sounds like a mix of Gwen, Alanis, and Tori Amos.

i saw her perform @ the viper room when i was in LA and she was really good.. not too much press on her though. i think you would like this girl lisa lavie (if you haven't already heard of her) she has a ton of videos on youtube and had like 1.5 million views in about a week for one.. kinda a leona lewis vibe going on..

Rose's voice is reminiscent of No Doubt frontwoman Gwen Stefani, but BETTER! Her influences are all over the place from African politics to everyday situations she faces and that gives her the opportunity to come up with some really original lyrics. My favorite song of hers is "Hello to You" the title track off of her album with the same name. Check her out though she's awesome.
