I was surfing the net and I came across Rose's myspace and I think she has the making of a big star. She reminds of Linda Perry as far as her style of singing is concerned. At times it's almost as if she's purring and cooing like a cat...she has a great range in her voice.

Hmmm, I really like her. Her lyrics are so inspirational. Thanks for the suggestion. I noticed she's playing some shows in LA soon. I think I'll try to go see one.

Rose's voice is reminiscent of No Doubt frontwoman Gwen Stefani, but BETTER! Her influences are all over the place from African politics to everyday situations she faces and that gives her the opportunity to come up with some really original lyrics. My favorite song of hers is "Hello to You" the title track off of her album with the same name. Check her out though she's awesome.

I checked out the site and "Hello to You" went on. I like her other songs too. She's going to be in LA? When? There's something quirky about her that I like. Yeah about the No Doubt thing, I think she's influenced by her that's why she has a similar sound lol.
