The Hoboken Cafe 

Does anyone know of a place that has an open mic night!? I read about one place and can't remember the name! THANKS!

Try the Tuesday night open mic at Ristra (3rd and Washington right by the McDonalds), assuming that they're still doing it. I haven't been there in a while, but from my experience, this is the best one in Hoboken that's still going on (nothing compared to the old Tuesday night open mics at the Liquid Lounge before it closed down almost a year ago). Also, I think that Willie McBride's does one on Thursday nights. I hope I helped.

One thing about Rodeo/Ristra....contrary to their ad in the Reporter, there is no cover charge.

and they ask if you want a drink, but there is no drink minimum, a fun cheap night out [which to some people would be a very bad idea for a date according to some posts...: )

In Hoboken there is the open at Rodeo on Tuesdays. In Manhattan there is the world infamous Antihootenanny at Sidewalk cafe (94 Ave.A) every Monday sign-up at 7:30pm
