My best friend, who calls herself "Leener" and who plays with an all-girl band called Bionic Finger, is doing a solo gig at LoveSexy this Thursday night, along with a bunch of other "anti-folk" performers. She's a great singer/songwriter. Hope to see some Hobokencafers there...here's the lineup.
