If you came out to Ristra last night, and stayed until after 11, then you probably saw my friend Alina play a couple of songs. If you liked what you heard, she'll be playing again at bar LoveSexy (104 Hudson St.) this Thursday night, 3/21,at 9PM. $5 cover.

Thanks for posting this Jenn. Last night was the first time I have seen Alina and she rocked. Awsome performance!

Thanks Mike! Yeah, she got a lot of positive feedback from the crowd after she played. She's been playing with a band for five years (Bionic Finger, an all-girl band that was known for switching instruments) but they recenlty broke up, so now she's solo. I've seen her from when she first picked up a guitar and taught herself "Leaving on a jet plane" so it's exciting to see her play now and see how far she's come musically!

It was a good night last night overall!
