Just thought you might like to know that vh1.com has just relaunched again. Now the site is truly database driven and you can get information on just about ANY artist you can think of (something like 70,000 artists). There is also a message board for every artist (The backend architecture was based upon these very boards BTW).
Soon you will also be able to get email reminders for shows on the channel as well. Check it out:

I was the tech director for the site for over a year. Now that we restructured we have one big tech group servicing all the sites, so I now work on more general applications that are used on multiple sites. I architected and led the production of the message boards that are now running on VH1.com, MTV.com, Nick.com, and some others.
