there's a really great NJ band called double-breasted playing at maxwell's tomorrow (Friday 6/28). they're a rock band who use cello and harp as their lead instruments.
i just interviewed them for my digizine :

Also playing are Hero Pattern, who I also think are really good.

The show itself starts at 8:30 pm. I'm not sure exactly when double-breasted go on, but I'd imagine they'd start between 9:30 or 10 (they are the 2nd band, and things tend to start promptly there at Maxwells). Then Hero Pattern after them (followed by Planet Janet, who I'm not too crazy about but other people seem to like them). Cover is $7 and I'd recommend gettng there fairly early as it's an Artist Amplification night and they tend to sell out there.
