Is there any place in Hoboken to see good punk rock (not pop punk) OR A venue to play punk rock?

i know all is playing at maxwell's monday august 19th. somtimes punk bands play at the whiskey bar. other than that i have no idea, i just go into the city.

If you're looking to play locally ... i know some bands who go through artistamplification ( http://www.artistamplification.com/ ) and have gotten some good gigs. They book shows at at lot of NJ clubs (including showcases at Maxwells) and tend to go a good job promoting them. i can't think of any other places in Hoboken to see punk bands, though!
