The Hoboken Cafe 

So tomorrow I'm going to play at open mic for the first time in a while. I do electronic music (with vocals), using a laptop computer as my only instrument. I'm planning on doing one original and a cover.

Should the cover be :

a) "Blue Monday" (New Order) - one of the songs that inspired me to get into electronic music in the first place

or

b) "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" (Iron Butterfly) - that sounds kind of cool done electronically (and don't worry, my version is only 4 minutes long!)

THAT will be coming soon!!! it's my favorite song to do at karaoke, and last time i did it i was thinking that i MUST do an electronic cover. I'm not quite done working it out, but I will do it within the next few weeks!!!

i'm not sure! it'll depend on what time i make it there to sign-up/how many other people there are. i'm leaning towards getting there kind of early, so i might get an early slot. but if you don't make until later .... i do plan on performing pretty regularly now! after doing a bunch of shows in the fall/winter i kind of took a break to work on material, but now i'm ready to play! so i should be there next week as well.
