Mike:
Congrats on such a successful event. The first one ever out of the gates and hit the ground running. I'm definitely looking forward to more twister and Ninja Burger! Just keep those panty shots to yourself.

We were at game night last night for the first time and had a great time. We were part of the group playing Cranium and You Don't Know Jack (thus the user name for me if you were watching my brilliance during that game). Anyway, thanks to the planners and the owner of the venue (our first time there - love the set up). We had a bunch of fun.

Thanks Windy, And thanks to everyone who came out for the fun. I do, however, have to apologize for the late start that we got which ended up with the timing not working out as planned. This was because I had to visit my father in the hospital yesterday afternoon and it messed up my schedule. I promise that the next one will be better organized.
I would especially like to thank Rafi and Cornel who did so much work making this event a success (and for letting us stay there until 2 in the morning). Thanks also to Kim for bringing the Newcomers club to the event, and to Jeff Faria for bringing his 'You Don't Know Jack' game as well.
I would also like to remind people that the Symposia Bookstore is a non-profit and relies on donations to keep going. Whenever we have an event there, there is a little donation box, so please please put in a few bucks if you can. Cornel is too nice to make any noise about it, so I will. Donations are tax deductible too.
As last night was such a success, we will be having a game night once a month.
Don't worry, windy, those panty (or should I say thong) shots are purely for blackmail purposes :)

Loved, loved, loved Game night! There were new faces, as well as the same old faces that I've come to like...
Steve and Tony? I apologize for having used the "draw 2," "draw 4/wild" and "reverse" cards. Still like you both, though.
Wait a minute. I'm actually not sorry. Muhahaha! ::Runs::

Well, I will definitely bring Ninja Burger but I plan to bring a boardgame called Settlers of Catan. Here is a description of this fine game
Players are recent immigrants to the newly populated island of Catan. Expand your colony through the building of settlements, roads, and villages by harvesting commodities from the land around you. Trade sheep, lumber ,bricks and some grain for a settlement, bricks and wood for a road, or try to complete other combinations for more advanced buildings, services and specials. Trade with other players, or at local seaports to get resources you might lack. The first player to achieve 10 points from a combination of roads, settlements, and special cards wins. Rules revised and now Standardized the World Over, Wood component colors are Red, White, Blue, Orange, Improved Text (for readability). (3rd US Edition, English Language)
