For the rest of you who wanted to try but for some unknown reason haven't yet, follow in Nancy [two weeks ago] and Steve's [yesterday] footsteps and take the Long Island Rail Road from Penn Station in Manhattan to Hicksville, Long Island, where I pick you up and give you a ride to the indoor climbing gym in Plainview, Long Island and after climbing [maybe eat before, depending on how early we can make it] I can give you a ride home to NJ
It's $14 to climb, $3 to rent climbing shoes, $3 to rent climbing harness, $10 first time only for climbing lesson, and signing your life away on a waiver? priceless....:)
I can typically climb one to two of these days after work: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday - usually climb 7-10PM
