I especially liked [no, not just because I won...] Jerry's "Ticket to Ride" game
[for the uninitiated you get destination cards - cities in US and/or Canada and trains and during every turn you can pick up two color cards from five or one wild card or two unknown cards. Your mission is to get rid of trains. You can lay track or pick up cards each turn. Only one section of track between two cities every turn. If you don't complete your mission you get the points on the card deducted at the end. Longest train extra points. Gray track on the board means any color you want. You can block someone from completing or make them go a longer route. No tradsies of cards though I really tried pushing for that. ]

Yes it was fun. Thanks everyone for coming. BTW we were still playing poker when most people left and I was about to be wiped out, well guess what? I actually ended up winning!!!
I was almost out of chips and was just waiting for a decent hand to go all in, so when I drew a King and a Queen, I went all in the first round, everyone stayed in creating a huge pot and I ended up wining the round with a pair of kings and a pair of Queens. In one round I went from being almost out to the chip leader. I then won the next 5 hands (the second to last with a Acces high full house).
That was one exciting game. For anyone who likes poker we plan on getting together for just a poker night, so if your interested let me know. At the moment we are not playing for money. We want to practice first before we do the real deal.

That's pretty good. Also, you can pick up more destination cards if you wish (instead of laying train or pickup colored cards) to attempt to get more points but you will lose points if you do not complete the route.
The manufacturer is listed below and you can pay a small fee if you want to play online (against people or computer).

It is a great simple game (unlike Ninja Burger) so Daphna or some of the others can run the game while I introduce more games. Like Kill Dr. Lucky (reverse version of Clue).

You are definitely dealing next time. Dusty is interested and she may have another person. I have one but he may want to play with real money. If so, I will hold off intro him in the game.

Damn it! All I did was play a few rounds of Apples to Apples ;), which became a lot more humorous when among my nouns were "whipped cream" and "Dr. Kavorkian."
Fun! Thanks so much for having us over :). Looking forward to the next one!

P.S. Sorry 'bout the fashionable lateness!
