Well I moved here in July, met someone and we fell madly in love, it was blissful....now the honeymoon is over and it crashed and burned like a shooting star...
And what sucks is that it is going to be soo damn difficult going to the bars and places he most likely will be... :(
I know its fresh, but I still wouldnt want to see him canoodling with some other girl where I used to be....
I dont think I could date someone in Hobo just because of this reason! geez louise!
Love in Hoboken Sucks!

Well, then try NoDating instead. As in www.NoDating.com The first official event is in Manhattan, so there will be plenty of Manhattanites there.
It's just a simple way to easily meet lots of single people. Check out the description at:

sometimes dating in general sucks, I don't think it is limited to just Hoboken. It is always hard to see the one you were with, with someone else (especially canoodling). It will get better, just give it time.(yea, I know: meaningless statement when you feel like your heart has been ripped to shreds).
Go out, have fun with your girlfriends, either in Hoboken or someplace else...

I have to agree on both points, dating in general sucks. In a town that's a mile square it's exceptionally rough.I don't know how long you have both been in town.I have been here eight years. There used to be a local singing duo called The Marys. They had a song called Four Doors Down.It was all about running into the person and persons you used to date in Hoboken, because it's so small avoiding them is impossible.I'm glad I'm not dealing with the dating scene anymore.

You might want to try hanging out in the city more. Not much of a chance of bumping into him there.

Why is the dating forum called "no dating"? Or, do you mean it's for people with "no dates"?

Look at it this way, you didn't waste too much time with him. Now you know. Make your own way in Hoboken. You don't need a man to do it. Buck up soldier.
Also stop moping about. Milking the whole "poor me" thing gets old after a while and becomes fake.

Doesn't Hoboken have hundreds of bars? If you really don't want to run into him, go someplace else for a change.
