So I met this guy a while ago. We exchanged e-mails and had a couple of great phone converstions, and because things were going so well, dicided to go out. The date went great. Lots to talk about, common interests, same sense of humor, enjoyed the company, lost track of the time and even an intense good-bye kiss (which he iniciated). He calls a few days after, and again great conversation. A few more phone calls, a few more e-mails over the next 2 weeks. I extend an invitation for us to go see this art exhibit together (a common interest). A few days later I get an e-mail stating he doesn't think we should see each other any more. I don't get it. I thought we were hitting it off. So what did I miss? Did I get the signals wrong?

It doesn't sound like you missed anything.Have you asked him why he feels this way? You can either do that,or just chalk it up to the fact he has his own agenda,whatever it may be.

An e-mail? Does anyone besides me think this is not ok? Shouldn't this at least have been a phone call?

I agree,an e-mail is not okay,a phone call definately or may be even face to face.Obviously someone with issues,their own agenda and certainly not worth another moment of time.

It hurts more than I thought it would. It was only a month from start to finish, which is not a long time, I know. It just makes me wonder what went wrong.

You did not miss anything. The guy saw something he did not like. It does NOT mean there is something wrong with you.

IN fact, I do agree with the two ladies. E-mail break up? Come on. You have been going out and talking for a month. This guy has no class.

What you are doing is good. Let it out of your system. Just remember, e-mail? This guy is a jerk
