I just moved to Hoboken and am 40 something, I seem to find not shortage of places for 20 something women, but where in the heck do the folks a little older go here?
PS - Not interested in anything sleezy, just good spots to meet folks a little closer my age?
PPS - This can be bars, nightclubs, or just clubs of vairous activities, whatever.
Any suggestions welcome.
Thanks!

i agree - Hoboken badly needs a "grown up" place. If you find one let me know.

Hi,
Here are a suggestions of places that have an older crowd (can't gurantee 40's but differently 30's which is better than 20's).
Ted and Joes 10th and Park
Jerry & Lousise: About 5th and Washington.
Buskers: Around 1st and bloomfield.
Mile Square 3rd and Washington
Zach's 3nd and Willow (not sure exact street but
it's around 3rd Street)
Moran's 5th and Garden Street
Hope this helps.

Hi-
I agree with some of the other suggestions. As a 40 something, I like
Zach's
Trinity -early on Fri nights and Sundays
Court St
occasionally Buskers
other places are quiet/older of different nights
Dippers
Part of the challenge of living in town is in checking out places and seeing what appeals to you.
enjoy!

Here's a thought:
why don't a group of us 40 somethings and any interested 3o somethings make a plan to meet up somewhere in town?

I was going to make this suggestion myself. I'm in if we can do this. I don't mind if it's just with one other person: Count me in!!!

Hi All,
How does Wed Sep 21st, 7:30 at Ted and Jo's sound?
Any and all 30 somethings and 40 somethings can meet up and have a cocktail.
I haven't planned an event like this before, so hopefully people will show up!
I will send another note on Monday with specifics on how to find us at Ted and Jo's.
Hope you can make it!

Hi everyone-
I will be there about 7:30
short, dark curly hair just past my shoulders
and will have 2 bags with me, one being a big purple
tote--kinda hard to miss the bag!
Hope you can make it and if you do, that you say hello!

Hi Everyone-
Last night we had a good time! We had a terrific turnout.
I enjoyed meeting and chatting with everyone that attended-thanks for coming to hopefully, the first of many 30 & 40 somethings get-togethers!
best regards,

Hi-
If you are setting it up, I would at the least, stop by and say hello.
