Sorry, this is kinda long... but it's the best story I had to put up under here.

Fact: I am a beacon for wierdos.

So this one time, I was set up by a friend of mine (at the time) and her boyfriend, with one of her boyfriend's friends.

Fact: Most of my female friends date scum.

Her current boyfriend was a real winner. Drug user/dealer, no job, high school drop out, was kicked out of his house, lived in his car at times, and talked like a gangster (even though his family lived in like suburbia.)

This should have been warning enough to me... but I took a chance. All 4 of us went on a double date, went to a movie then out somewhere afterwards. This girl and I got along pretty well, and ended up hitting it off right away.

Fact: Friends sometimes leave out important details in situations that revolve around you and your sanity.

As things went on, I talked to this girl more, and found out she was like, 17... I was 22 at the time. hah hah. She also had all sorts of emotional/family problems. We got along though, but when we all hung out, she and I got along fine while my friend and her boyfriend argued. The whole time. Every time. All the time.

Eventually, after a few weeks of seeing this girl, my friend and her boyfriend break up. He decides to go to Florida for a week or two to "get his life in order" and she goes with him (they've been friends for years, so why would I think anything of it.)

They get back from florida, and she's acting strange, doesnt talk much on the phone, that sort of thing. Voices in my head tell me something's up, but I know I have a tendancy to be paranoid, so I ignore it.

Fact: I hate being right all the time.

So, finals ended on a Monday that semester (senior year of college, woo-hoo), for me and most of my hallway was well. We have a big celebration party in our room, and I get a call from my friend.

We talk about stuff, but it boils down to, she wants to tell me my girlfriend is cheating on me. With some random dude I met hanging out with them all the week or two before. Well, I don't know if we were ever "officially" together, but she sure seemed to think so. Before the cheating, anyway.

The whole ordeal was over so quick, I couldnt even trick myself into thinking that I missed her :p

Bonus: last I heard, this girl - she's be 19 now, I think - was in jail for fraud or something.

Bonus: In the two hours that my friend and her bf were broken up, and I was comforting my friend, her (now ex) bf and his friend (the girl I ended up seeing) screwed in a parking lot.

That was probably before they went to Florida, but it might not have been, I don't know, every day during this timeframe felt like a bad episode of the Real World (like they have any good episodes...)

How do I find the wierd ones? :p

Again, sorry this is so long... Hope I didnt bother anyone with my rambling.

You ever wonder how people like that are able to live day by day.

Anyway, I had a blind date. This female met me at a inexpensive college hangout in New Brunswick, NJ. Before ordering she pulls out an Entertainment Book; coupon. I was embarassed at this point. 2 professionals dining out at a place where for 2 people you can eat for under 15.00. She than pulls out the Entertaiment Book. Not sure where she had it hidden but she starts to flip through pages where I can save money.

It gets better.

We decide to go to the movies. Pulling into parking lot of theater she parks in Handicap area. I am not HC and neither is she but she has a HC placard you stick on rearview mirror. And, to top it off she has Entertainment coupons for the movies as well.

That was enough and no longer will see her. I don't mean to sound mean but have some class when your meeting someone for the first time.

I would've asked if she had coupons for Sam Goody/Suncoast.

Sorry you had to endure that date. It sounded wrong on so many levels! I don't know what's worse--the handicap parking or the multiple use of coupons?
