How about the choice to post annonymously for people who would like to post questions or ask for advise, and not necesarily want the world to know who is asking?

That could be practical, because there might be people who would rather not post if they were identified
On the other hand, the free option to do so could potentially increase the likelihood of flaming - even though the site administrator could track the poster

Hey, Good idea. This is done. It's now set up so that certain boards will allow anonymous posting. So Which boards should this feature be turned on for?

Cool feature, Mike. Why don't you simply have an "anonymous" board and then any post going there will have id deleted or whatever. Or can't you add the post as: feature on all of them?

I like the idea of a board for anonymous posting. It seems like a good starting point and we can see how popular it is and how much it gets used.

How about being able to post annonymoussly on the health and fitness board so people may ask questions about there trouble areas or diets without letting others know who is posting.

Brent,
All of the boards have the anonomous option set. When you post, there is a section labeled 'Post as' with a pull down that lets you choose your screen name or 'anonymous'.
