We have a new baby and need a good sitter in Hoboken/Weehawken area. We are new to area and would like to meet other parents to socialize with. Any hints on finding a local sitter and/or social groups? Lastly, is there a dinner night group that meets once a month that we can join?

I know there is a social circles group that meets. It tend to be more for singles but I am sure the person who runs it can make accomodations, just ask. The Symposia has some cool events that is mostly gear for the community. Click on resources for the Symposia website.
