There is a new mass-mailing worm called Mydoom-A. This worm is actively propagating throughout the internet. Mydoom uses a variety of message subject lines and atachment types which makes filtering of the virus difficult. This virus is delivered by an e-mail with the following characteristics:
Subject lines include:
error
hello
hi
mail delivery system
mail transaction failed
server report
status
test
[random collection of characters]
Attachment names include:
body
data
doc
document
file
message
readme
test
[random collection of characters]
Attachment extensions:
bat
cmd
exe
pif
scr
zip
Please delete any messages with the subject lines, attachment names or attachment extensions listed above. And as always, be cautious when dealing with any emails containing attachments or from senders you are not familiar with.
Check out the yahoo article on it at:

Anyone who surfs the web or files shares and
doesn't use an anti-virus and
anti-spyware programs is asking for trouble.
Try this download to see how much spyware
you've picked up. It looks for tracking programs,
data miners, etc.
It's called Adaware and can be downloaded from:
