I can't imagine people wanting some of these cars, let alone them being on the top 10 list of most stolen. I guess I need a regional breakdown please ;-)

One thing I think is a little misleading is that it ranks by numbers of thefts and not rates. One reason why Accords top the list is the fact that their numbers top the list as well.

A ranking based on theft numbers per car sold gives a different picture.

If I had a link I'd post. Maybe some other time.

2001 Corolla? THAT's a surprise regardless.

And speaking of slicing and dicing numbers, here's sorta what I was talking about. Except it does not look at pre-2001 cars - an important element.
