Watersport shoes

Anyone have any recommendations on good shoes for watersports? I need something that can be totally submerged in water. I don't much like the "bootie" style typical of most aqua shoes but would prefer the "mary jane" style or something similar. I ran a bunch of searches on the internet but haven't come up with anything I like.

Thanks!

probably kayaking, sailing, rafting or, of course, cave tubing when I go back to Belize again (which was amazing despite my being thrown up against a rock and flipping over about 15 seconds after I started)!
