Has anyone ever used one of those Roomba Pro Elite vacuum cleaners? I am really tempted to get one of these...

get the "copy cat Zoombot". They sell at Walmart, same thing, I think Phillips makes it, and $90-$100. I think they also sell it at the new Target in JC.
A friend has the Roomba and very happy, but had mentioned that the Zoombot was the same and had regretted paying the extra.

I was wondering what the big deal was over a vacum cleaner, but then I saw a comercial for it on TV. That really does look cool, especially for lazy old me.

Well I did go ahead and order the Roomba discovery series. I did some research and although it costs more than the Zoombot, the Zomobot didn't get very good reviews for being able to effectively clean both rugs and floors. The Roomba discovery series seems to be very effective at doing both. We shall see...the thing is on back order but I will let you know how it works out...
