Do you know of any fair auto insurance companies that are reasonably priced? Recently moved here w/car and need insurance. What the hell is wrong with NJ? Why can't I find any insurance carriers?

I had a really tough time finding a carrier, period. Many insurance carriers pulled out of NJ...
NJ Manufacturer's insurance is really cheap relative to other companies, but I am not sure if you have to be working for a NJ co. in order to apply...

As I said in the previous thread on this topic, NJ Cure is the way to go -- provided you have a clean (not more than 1 ticket or accident) record. I'm now paying just over $700 a year (after moving out of Hoboken) for a 1995 Grand Am.

I looked into NJ Cure, but the quote wasn't the cheapest and it took too long to process. I found a great Agent, but it's about 30 mins away. There doesn't seem to be anyone good that writes Auto insurance around Hoboken.
