I have been looking to buy a good point and shoot camera. I had originally had a couple of Yashica cameras in mind because some of them have a number of features that allow the picture taker some discretion when taking pictures but I was wondering if anyone had any other recommendations.
Thanks,
Liss

I like my camera. I have a Nikon One Touch Zoom90. It was inexpensive.....under $200.+/-, I think.

I bought a digital (Olympus D550) over the summer and I'm 100% thrilled by it.
It's easy to work and it's very difficult to mess up a shot unless you're say at the top of a ski mountain last weekend and, oops, your mitten somehow got in the shot.
All I need to do is email you one of my Utah shots from a few weeks ago and I'll make a believer out of you.

You'll likely need to cut and paste this link for it to work.

I thought that since she didn't ask for a Digital camera, she meant regular.
I also have a Digital and a Poloroid. Yes, the "Japanese people with cameras" thing is true....... :)

You're prolly right about the regular/digital thing but now that I have a digital I can't recommend them more highly. Converting the masses and all that.
Plus you can put the pics out on the internet, get 'em printed at CVS, email them w/o scanning, etc.
