When is Bush going to call it quits in Iraq?!

Anyone else think we are just staying there for Bush, and not for Iraq? How many more "most deadly accident since war began" stories of bombings and helicopter crashes killing US soldiers do we need?

How come no one has charged Bush as a war criminal? That would be more logical than simply protesting.

And if president Clinton had the balls to go into Afghan when our ships and embassies were being bombed maybe 9-11 never would have happened? But oh wait, that would make him a war criminal too since he would be defending the american people before thousands are killed.

It's possible that if Clinton, 9-11 would've been much worse.

There is no black or white here but Bush's actions are questionable. Why is Halliburton involved? Why does the Bush family have ties to the Bin Ladens? Why didn't Papa Bush finish the job?

I don't know what to think anymore. Even though I saw "JFK" years ago, it just hit me that our government murdered our leader and still hides the facts. The new special provides explicit proof of LBJ's involvement. Forty years later and we still can not see all of the papers or charge anyone.

If that gov't could murder the President to further its involvement in Nam and other wrong ventures, then it's more than possible that ours allowed 9-11 so we could invade the Middle East (again). There's no question that our government knew we would be attacked again.

So you are into the conspiracy theories huh? :)

Bush senior didn't finish the job in 91 is for several reasons. One, we learned a lesson from the panama invasion in making a country's leader a primary target (It's a fact that the US military never knew at any one point where saddam was.) Second, Bush didn't want to get involved in another Vietnam style war. At the time that was probably the biggest fear of the gulf war, when would it end? So clear, concise objectives were laid out, which brings me to my next point. Third, our main object was to get Iraq out of Kuwait and as a result of that destroy it's military. The motivation behind it was basically the oil. If Iraq took kuwait and had access to all of that money to build up it's military even more, what would be the next target? Saudi Arabia, and we weren't going to allow a huge supplier of american oil be threatened like that. (We built that base in Saudi Arabia after the gulf war for that purpose, to be a deterrent force to an Iraq invasion) So the overall objective was never to defeat Iraq, occupy it or kill Saddam, it was simply to cripple Iraq's military to the point it would be no threat to the middle east and mostly Saudi arabia.

As far as the government allowing 9-11 to happen, it's far fetched but certainly not impossible. Some say Rosevelt knew of the attack on Pearl happen back in WW2 but allowed it to happen anyway since that was the only way to get us into the war and get the country motivated to fight a war.

And as far as little green men running around in the desert at area 51, you're guess is as good as mine ;p

Why are we soft on France? Has Bush ever condemned the alarming level of Anti-Semitism or their harboring criminals? I heard one report of a rabbi telling his congregants (sp?) to wear baseball caps instead of yamulkes for their safety. Why haven't French handed over Roman Polanski? Maybe Al Bundy was onto something...

Did you know that British news media is more anti-semitism than people realize. Their coverage on the Israel Palistine conflict is more pro-Palestine focusing on the suffering of Palestine due to the insurgents of Israel.

The viewpoints of Britians are also more anti-jewish. Not to the point of rioting but definitely a little racism there.

Ok I am going to call Bull$#!T on this comment...

Terrorists by nature are pretty good at hiding. In not in Afgan, they would be somewhere else.. 9-11 or something of the like, would have happened regardless of any previous action or prevention.

I am completly surprised that people have not been blowing themselves up here in the USA yet. I can pretty much forcast that this will happen in the next year. The writing is on the wall.

War Criminal Shwar Criminal....prosecution would not make much difference in the grand scheme of anyting....Why do you think they killed Uday and Qusay when they clearly could have caputred them????

The killed them becuse then there would be no more debate over it, no tribunal, no hijackings of airliners where the release of war criminals is the motivation...nothing, just finanlity...you know that if they find Saddam they will kill him even if he surrenders...

Jeez...I think the USA needds a good old high school shooting to take our minds off the mid-east for a while...

This is becuase there takes no additional effort to rally disliek against the French...no one in the formative business or political world really cares for the French...

So..wasting time on pointing out how bad they are would be like trying to tell people that fire is in fact...hot

Instead of a high school shooting, we've got Michael Jackson. I'm hoping he gives us an OJ road chase.

not for bush, as he really does not call the (any) shots, its more that the soldiers there are diying for certain campaign contributing companys that now will bank in on re-building and oil contracts....quite obviously
