Can someone PLEASE refer me to a good doctor in Hoboken. Recently I was sick and I moved into Hoboken about 4 months ago and never had a doctor. Finding a doctor that is taking patients and take me that day was IMPOSSIBLE. Please help me!!! I'm in need of help!

If you use the "Search" function on this site you can get some suggestions as people have asked this question before. There was a time when I saw either Dr. Demarco or Dr. Balacco at Hoboken Family Practice (when I finally accepted that alas, I was too old for the tiny chairs in my pediatrician's office and Highlights wasn't doing it for me anymore) and they are okay but their staff is intolerable so be prepared for a fight with rudeness. My primary care is in the city now.

Gusteroid, Don't you know that doctors are for people who have money, not for people who are actually sick?

I am in basically the same boat you are.I've lived here almost seven years.I do not have a primary care physician.I have learned that with most doctors,if you are a new patient you must wait 2 weeks before appointment, not much help when you're sick at that moment.I was food poisoned a few years ago.I thought I had a virus. It lasted so long.I was told to go to St. Marys Emergency Room.I refused for a virus.I called Dr.Mendhi on 14th and Wash.He took me that day.I would also try South Hudson Associates, they are on 3rd and Grand Street. Good Luck!
