Hi It's that time that I need to change my plates to Jersey..has anyone had the pleasure of dealing with the NJMV and can tell me which one might be the least busiest or least aggrivating to deal with..and what the best times of days are..I am changing plates from RI ..so I am assuming that I only need to just give them my RI registration..??? thanx

DMV.Org
In my experience...go to the DMV on Bergenline Ave, across the street from North Hudson Park in North Bergen. It's in the 80's I believe?? Get there EARLY.
When you're finished, you can stop by White Castle. Yummmmm

You can check out: http://www.state.nj.us/mvc/
When I had to renew my license, I went to the one in Jersey City: 438 Summit Ave. (it is near the Journal Sq. PATH station). I got there a little bit after it opened and actually didn't think it was that bad - I went on a Friday too. It did start to get really crowded around lunch time though but by then I had already had my picture taken and was just waiting for my name to be called to pick it up.

You can also go to the one in Englewood, during lunch. I got my license there in about 10 minutes. Let me know if you need directions.
