I often think that theres a moment when if you can do a good deed or truly help someone out that you should .However I wonder where is drawing the line on such a thing and when is it considered butting in??????

Good question. I think that depends on the person and the situation. I've known people that are very resitent to receiving help, so any attempt to offer any is not taken well. But time can also be a factor. Someone may not be in a place to hear what you're saying at that moment, but may appreciate it later when they can. Follow your instincts. When your intentions are genuine, most people will see that.

All I can say is, be nice. You will get those who won't appreciate it. Just recognize those folks quickly and drop them like a bad habit. Everyone else will appreciate your efforts.
If people don't want the help, as long as they do it gracefully, let them learn on their own. But at least, the respect you for offerring. Right?
