I don't think the truly disposable cell phones (the ones you actually throw away) ever made it to market. You might want to just look into pre-paid service, where you buy batches of minutes. Most places that sell phones should have those. i can't remember offhand which carriers offer it ... maybe AT&T? you do end up paying higher per-minute rates.

I know of someone who has a phone with a sim card then she pays for a prepaid card, programs that in a phone and gains that many minutes on the card. Kind of odd but I guess that works. Is that what you are looking for?

I have seen them around..cvs.or sprint..or circuit city..i think staples has them....

They sell them just about everywhere. I think you can get them at Target. But check out Radio Shak too.
