Animal Infirmary of Hoboken on Adams St.

and why?

Any particular vet you recommend?

My cat is very ill and no one seems to know what's wrong with him. I'd appreciate any input.

If you are unsatisfied w/the vets in Hoboken, you may want to try Animal General in Edgewater-just a 10-15 minute drive. I took my cats there for an annual check up once and they seemed very good (I decided not to use them ONLY b/c I needed a vet in Hoboken b/c of transportation issues). I also know of someone who took their cat their for a 2nd opinion after being seen at Hoboken Animal Hospigal. If you have to go to a vet in Hoboken, I've heard better things about Hoboken Animal Infirmary, though my cat was treated by Dr. Sprage at Hoboken Animal Hospital for an emergency and he was great. If you choose Hoboken Animal Hospital insist on having him.

I have two cats. We take them to Dr. Sprage at Hoboken Animal Hospital. He is a great vet. We had to put one of our cats down last year after many operations for cancer. They handled the situation very well. We also have a diabetic cat which gets two insulin shots a day and must be tested every couple of months. Both of our cats are very happy and healthy. One is a kitten and the other has the insulin problem. I never even knew cats got diabetes. Anyway we use Hoboken Animal Hospital. The only thing I do not like about them is the prices. They are insanely expensive. I have heard that the infirmary prices are similair and are just as good. For us the Hoboken Animal Hospital is closer. That is why we chose it. Hope your cat gets better.

I prefer the vet office for Vietnam Vets better than the one for WWII vets.
