Just wanted to introduce myself as being new to the message board. I figured it would be nice to get to know some people that live in the area, seeing as how I've been in Hoboken nearly 3 years and know about as many people here now as I did 4 years ago.

Ron,
Welcome to the Cafe. I know how you feel. I have lived in Hoboken for 5 years and most of my friends don't live here. Come to the Liberty bar on 14th st. tonight. There are a number of us gathering there around 8:30 - 9:00. They have a live accustical band starting at 9. And bring your wife too!

Once again "hello" everyone. I am Ron's wife - not some crazy harlot. I was suprised to see he had started posting today and I was just playing with him :)
Unfortunately we are really busy this evening but we would both like to come to one of the get-togethers pretty soon.
And yeah, we might even treck ALL the way uptown for it too :P

Well, I would have to say that I made it up :) It's that kind of new-age music that, at first, sounds like it's going to be Enya, but then errupts into celtic drum beats and loud screaming chanting. I guess you'd have to hear it to know what I'm talking about. If there's a specific genre for it, I don't know what it is...
