Yes, and this is due greatly to Naomi who has been a one women recruiting machine. She has been spreading the word about the Cafe like crazy.
Go Naomi go!

Good idea, Nao! I've lived in Hoboken for 10+ years but have never had a lot of time to meet the locals. I met most of my friends at work or in grad school as I went to both undergrad and grad schools part-time at night while working full-time during the day. This does not lend it self to building a great social life. Well that was then!
It's time to live, play, meet new people and hang out.
Has anyone else had a similar experience? On a different note, I'll be in LA with friends from 8/13 - 8/19. Any recommendations with respect to places I should not miss. Thanks!

I've been in hoboken for about 1 1/2 years. I really like the place, and actually book bands at Libertys on 14th street on wednesdays and the occasional weekend. looking forward to meeting more and more of you over the coming days and weeks.

Hi naomib,
I've lived here my entire 33 years. Back when this place was a dump and before the yuppies took over. I'm in the downtown area of Hoboken, and was born in St. Mary's. Went to St. Francis School on 3rd & Jefferson St. and I seen all the changes take place in this town.
We've probably crossed paths at some time.
See ya ;-)

Hi Matteo!
I'm sure we've run into each other. We're in the same age group. I graduated from Hoboken High in 1986. Hey you should check out Classmates.com. Hilarious. Tons of folks from our day. I grew up on 2nd and Jefferson and on Grand St. Glad you joined the site. Enjoy your weekend!

Hi! My parents live in Hoboken, and I'm coming home this weekend! I've lived in Hoboken for the past 4 years, but feel like I don't really know it well, because it keeps changing. This forum is a wonderful idea :).

I saw a lamp-post taped to a fly, I had to duck of course but ended up with a goose-neck. But then I'm no chicken so decided to lump it instead of like it. However it turned out to be a heffalump not a whole, so I filled in the hole with a toad and stuffed my face. After that I wasn't Hungary any Moor and bought Turkey for tee, which didn't go down well at the driving range.
Hmm, it's passed my bedtime, better go before I say anything too pickyouleer.
g'night, luv Jonathan2
