LOL! That was pretty funny. I'll have to send this to some folks. We just had a round of layoffs this week (and we get to find out who is getting cut from tech next week - oh joy). The cuts were severe but at least they are giving a good severence package.

Hope you're spared. We've been told in the NY office that our jobs are safe for now, that our CEO really believes in eBooks, even though they've been slow to take off. Still, I'm nervous. I feel like anything could happen in this economy.

And it hits close to home. HP closed my site, so almost all my coworkers are laid off and are not having any luck finding jobs. (Unix kernel developers--kind of esoteric)

I'm taking company relocation to Colorado, and will ride out the recession out there.
